INSIGHTS FOR EVERYONE...

Boundaries - create space to meet your needs first

Boundaries - does the word alone make you cringe?!

Frankly, it used to make my eyes twitch; because who in this world enjoys saying 'NO' as a high level executive, right?
It's like admitting you can't do something on our own and it's been ingrained in each one of us at a very young age, that it's perceived as 'being a winner', when doing it all by ourselves - to carry emotional and physical baggage beyond our personal limit like a champ. 'It will make you strong and prepare you for life', is probably how most of you have heard it.
Truth - I myself carried this belief with me for far too long throughout my entire carrier.
And it did not make me feel like a champion at all - not a single time.

Let me tell you this - not anymore!

If you're a business owner, a high level executive force within an organization or anywhere within a leadership position, I would like to say the following to you:

'You can and do not have to have it handled all by yourself at all times.'
I promise!

Here's the truth - And I say this to all of my 1:1 clients:

The moment you choose space for yourself, you are saying 'YES' to your internal flow and leader - and it will change the way you operate 360°! 🚀

In fact it is one of the key qualities of an inspiring and truly fulfilled leader.
Are you with me on this?!

Personally, I prefer the frequency of a 'YES' much more over a 'NO'!
Can you feel the difference?🔋

You're probably thinking to yourself, 'But Nadine, if you've ever tried to create boundaries in your professional life you know all too well, it can be quite challenging to get your boundaries to 'stay in place' long-term.'

Agreed and this means you're ambitious and driven at your core, just like me.
And I know how loud your inner voice can get and tell you 'Well I can have a quick look' or 'I can spare another hour' or 'I got it', right?

Now instead of creating all those boundaries, wouldn't you much rather want to create space to meet your needs without asking for permission?

It's important for you to know when to lean in and when it is time to step back and let others assist by adding their valuable genius to a project.

The last thing you'll ever want to do is micromanage or delegate out of fear or overwhelm.

Establish your internal boundaries/space and people will follow and respect it - if you stick to them first though! 💢
In order to show up energized and connected you must do what matters to you FIRST.
Make a list - maybe even right now.

Take a moment and prioritize and see what it boils down to for you each day.

Commit to staying in your energy and learn how to set your boundaries (create your space of a new default you). Honestly ask yourself: When does something truly need my attention and time right away and what can wait till tomorrow.

I promise this will change so much!
Much more than you can probably imagine right now. 🔭

This will allow you to be more present and focused. You will engage differently during your quality family time.
Guilt and stress free.

Make yourself a promise you can't break by unapologetically unplugging when stepping out of the office! 🔌

Ready, set, go!

Enjoy a good movie or walk with your kids and let yourself be unplugged in order to show up recharged.
