Don't we all remember sitting in class...not being able to listen to our teachers any longer or take in any more information...already past the point of productively responding or thinking?!

A work environment is no different.
I believe when we are in our genius and full potential we no longer need a 40-50 hour work week.

The most productive employees don't necessarily work the longest hours. Instead, they take the smartest approach to managing their energy to solve tasks in efficient and creative ways.

I truly feel that the eight-hour workday is an outdated and ineffective approach to work. If you want to be as productive as possible, you need to let go of this relic and find a new approach.

Per FORBES magazine: 'The ideal work-to-break ratio is 52 minutes of work, followed by 17 minutes of rest.

People who maintained this schedule have a unique level of focus in their work. People who have discovered this magic productivity ratio crush their competition because they tap into a fundamental need of the human mind: the brain naturally functions in spurts of high energy (roughly an hour) followed by spurts of low energy (15–20 minutes).'

PLUS turns out per a scientific study...The most productive employees don't need to work full eight-hour days and are happiest and most creative when given the space for socializing and spending time with their loved one's.

One of the secrets to retaining the highest level of productivity over the span of a workday is definitely not working longer, but working smarter (less hours and fewer days) with frequent breaks.

Love this quantum leap decision of the new Prime Minister of Finland. It is definitely time to adjust to 2020 speed and the needs of today's society:

Marine - Prime Minister: "I believe people deserve to spend more time with their families, loved ones, hobbies and other aspects of life, such as culture. This could be the next step for us in working life.’
