One of the greatest disciplines is to establish a foundation of an ongoing flow of communication within your organization.
If there is one thing you want to prevent it is lack of communication. Ever.
I’m sure you’ve experienced this before - a conflict arises and maybe you catch yourself or someone within your executive level getting caught up in overwhelm or tempted to avoid getting involved - thinking it will resolve itself.
Know this though - an unresolved issue and a non existing ground of communication will add a very destructive layer to any business operation.
Truly - there is nothing worse than ignoring something from the get go and staying silent about it. Especially as an aware leader.
Start embracing your ownership, voice and impact. Trust me when I say this - There is no such thing as showing up or caring too much as a leader. Your team and clients will just appreciate you even more. We all want to be heard and sometimes it requires a 3rd party to listen beyond the two perspectives as they are clashing against each other.

Be approachable and available to all your staff members.
When people can’t work together it reveals itself pretty fast. You’ll notice that people become more cautious with one another, there will be less and less communication without any obvious reason, and most importantly, their trust to each other starts to break down.
One of the things I like to remind my clients of on a constant basis is to remember this -
>> THERE IS AN UNDERLYING LAYER OF COMMUNICATION TAKING PLACE - BEYOND THE SPOKEN WORDS
Science confirms it. Our body language comprises about 75% of a person's presence. So without even saying a word - everyone’s body is its own unique conduit of an individual's expression of information.
There’s a reason why we have the saying ‘action speaks louder than words’ because the way we communicate, even with our body, is a key factor.
But I would even go a bit further than that. Yup, my clients know what I’m talking about. All my programs include quarterly business matrix readings - because there is so much more to an organization than ‘just’ the usual business operation models.

Everyone who’s committed to achieving higher levels of impacts knows that communication goes much deeper than words. It’s why I put so much emphasis on the new value system that will unveil itself in the corporate world more and more.
People are starting to be more attuned to their environment around them - they care more about what an organization stands for and how their product feels. Believe me - once you’ve fully owned the footprint and vibration of yourself and your whole business it will change the way you lead. It will change the way you connect and interact and co-create with every single team member.

What I’ve come to see is that more than 90% of leaders who communicate with awareness have embodied all aspects of body language that assist to connect faster with their team.
It’s their whole expression that feels natural and allows others to feel safe around them. How come? Because they are relatelabe and transparent. They don’t put themselves on a pedestal and care deeply about owning the direction of a true team relationship.
Don’t ever undervalue the power of your words.
And ask yourself this question: When I feel tempted not to act or ignore a difficult situation - Am I holding myself back for personal comfort or for the good of the whole?
And yes it takes courage to step out of the old ways of operating but I promise you this - You will feel so much better after having taken full control of what you want to communicate and stand for as a leader rather than what is expected.
Don’t stay silent.
Remember - we are all human. We all have emotions.
